While combing through some new stuff on Google Reader, I inadvertently created some form of post-modern web experience. Lost at E Minor posted an MP3 of Dead Can Dance’s “The Carnival is Over”. I listened to the song while continuing on to Is Nice That’s link to SWEET GIFS. The following image was featured:
The coincidental pairing seemed oddly perfect.
Plugging the Ill
Besides having a name that’s a pain in the ass to type, the Ill Lillies have a fresh sound and a healthy repertoire of solid rhythm and soothingly high-pitched vocals. They also happen to be good friends of mine, and I am frequently impressed by the quality that they put out.
